Job summary

Australia Post Group is seeking a Freight Handler in Orange Facility, NSW, to support fast and accurate delivery to customers. The role involves hands-on loading/unloading, packing, scanning and updating documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will be physically fit, capable of lifting 30 kg, and available for early morning shifts from 3:00 am. A forklift licence is valuable; full work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 30kg repeatedly.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
• Team oriented with the aim to keep the community connected.
• Able to work early morning shifts and adapt to start times (3:00am).

Responsibilities

• Handload parcels and cartons from conveyors into trucks for delivery.
• Unload trucks on return to the warehouse.
• Wrap freight by hand or with a shrink wrapper and update documentation.
• Electrically scan parcels and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Work hours between 3:00am – 7:00am; overtime as required by business needs.
