Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an inspiring Centre Director in Melbourne to guide a dynamic team and embed Busy Bees philosophy across a centre serving families and children. You will lead daily operations, ensure high-quality learning experiences and manage occupancy and financial performance with a focus on safety and inclusion.

You will develop a strong leadership team, sustain regulatory compliance, and foster partnerships with families and the local community while working with Area Director to meet

Qualifications

• Desire to lead a child-safe, high-quality service
• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) and WWCC
• Proven experience leading a 70+ place centre or similar scale
• Strong knowledge of NQF, EYLF and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage occupancy, rosters and financial performance
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a welcoming, nurturing early learning service.
• Drive occupancy growth and financial performance in line with budget targets.
• Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and state regulations.
• Foster a culture of safety, inclusion and educational excellence.
• Develop strong partnerships with families and the local community.
• Collaborate with Area Director and support functions to achieve strategic goals.
• Lead performance management, workforce planning and succession planning.
