Working across Horsham and surrounding communities, you'll partner with families, schools and community services to deliver practical, strengths-based support that helps families thrive.

As an Early Help Practitioner, you'll provide short-term, evidence-informed interventions, helping families build confidence, strengthen relationships and connect with the right services at the right time. This role can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis for the right candidate.

  • Contributing to community activities that build inclusion and resilience.
  • Supporting positive outcomes through collaborative, place-based practice. Based in Horsham, you'll work across schools, early childhood settings, health services and community locations, helping create stronger support networks for local families.

About The Program

The Early Help Program is part of Victoria's reform agenda to provide support earlier, helping children and families access assistance before issues become more complex. The program focuses on prevention, early intervention and strengthening family wellbeing through accessible local services.

Working alongside schools, maternal and child health services, early learning centres and community organisations, the program delivers practical support that is trauma-informed, culturally safe and family-centred.

Through strong partnerships and community connections, Early Help supports families to build confidence, resilience and stronger pathways to positive outcomes for children.
