Job summary

First Five Early Learning on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher for our 4 year old Kindergarten room. You will deliver a high-quality program that fosters curiosity and school readiness.

You will be supported by a stable leadership team, enjoy engaging learning spaces and professional development, and have the option of full-time or part-time hours with above award wages, a childcare gap fee discount, and a supportive, child-safe environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Certificate for National Mandatory Child Safety Training (Foundation).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & QKLG preferred.
• Demonstrated collaborative leadership and strong communication skills.
• Two work references required.
• Full Time or Part Time hours considered.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher for our 4 year old Kindergarten room.

In kindergarten, children are 4 for a whole year! We are looking for a teacher who will celebrate who they are now, confident that the quality of the educational program affords children ongoing opportunities to develop foundational knowledge and skills necessary for school.

You will be supported by a stable, experienced and approachable leadership team, including a non-contact Educational Leader. Our Centre has a variety of engaging learning spaces with high quality resources, with the addition of a project studio room and covered outdoor play spaces for all weather play.

Role Requirements

A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

A certificate of completion for the National Mandatory Child Safety Training (Foundation)

A current and valid Working with Children Check

A Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

Experience and understanding with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG

Collaborative leadership and teamwork skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

2 previous work references will be required

Full Time or Part Time hours considered
