Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Tahmoor, NSW is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant service on a full-time basis. You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and our centre philosophy.

To be considered you must hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Care and NESA Accreditation. Current First Aid & CPR, WWCC, and a commitment to inclusive practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care or equivalent.
• NESA Accreditation if ECT-qualified.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate preferred.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid work is required.

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators &Teachers to join our vibrant Tahmoor Service.

Early Childhood Teacher - Full-time. Must hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Care & NESA Accreditation

About the Roles

As an Early Childhood Educator or Teacher at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with fellow educators to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Support the team of educators & teachersthrough intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice.

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team.

Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations

Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment that supports the well-being of children, staff, and stakeholders

Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework, including laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan.

Use your voice to advocate for children, families, and the profession, enhancing our service’s professional identity.

Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements.

About you

Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Early Childhood and Carefrom a nationally approved registered training organisation

Hold NESA Accreditation if ECT-qualified.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate(Preferred)

Valid Employee Working with Children Check(Paid)

Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices

Maintain Mandatory National Child Safety Training
