Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in NSW is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators and Teachers to join our Elderslie and surrounding services in the Macarthur Region. You will create meaningful learning experiences aligned with our service philosophy and uphold child-safe practices while collaborating with a team to support children’s wellbeing and lifelong love of learning.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday with a rotating roster from 6:30 am to 6 pm, across our Elderslie

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Preferred).
• Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Paid).
• Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an engaging educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Support the team through intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Follow Centre Policies, ECA Code of Ethics and maintain records and program evaluations.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment for children and staff.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework.

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators &Teachers to join our vibrant Elderslie & surrounding Services in the Macarthur Region.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator or Teacher at Young Academics, you will create meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. As a service, compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child-safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with fellow educators to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.

This position is a full-time role - Monday to Friday between 6:30 am - 6 pm (rotating roster).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Support the team of educators & teachersthrough intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice.

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team.

Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations

Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment that supports the well-being of children, staff, and stakeholders

Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework, including laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan.

Use your voice to advocate for children, families, and the profession, enhancing our service’s professional identity.

Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements.

About you

Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Care, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Early Childhood and Carefrom a nationally approved registered training organisation

Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework
