Job summary

Pambula Village Preschool, based in Pambula, NSW, is seeking a passionate Educator to join on a part-time or full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality early childhood education, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment where children can learn, play and grow.

You will collaborate with colleagues to implement developmentally appropriate programs, document learning and support children's transitions.

Qualifications

• Valid early childhood education qualification (Diploma or equivalent)
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care also acceptable
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of play-based learning and early childhood development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team environment
• Patience, creativity and genuine passion for working with young children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality within professional boundaries
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Experience in early childhood education or childcare is valued

• Plan, implement and evaluate play-based learning experiences promoting development
• Provide direct care and supervision ensuring safety and wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Observe and document learning to inform future programming

• Collaborate to plan events, excursions and celebrations
