Job summary

Warrnambool City Council’s Early Learning Centres are currently seeking an Early Childhood Educator – Diploma Qualified to join our centre-based childcare team.

The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering high-quality education and care, support the team to implement the program in a safe, stimulating environment and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Childhood Services and current research-based practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma).
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check.
• Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training).

Early Childhood Educator – Diploma (Centre Based Childcare)

Warrnambool City Council’s Early Learning Centres are currently seeking an Early Childhood Educator – Diploma Qualified.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate about providing high quality education and care to children and support the whole team to deliver the program in a safe and stimulating environment.

The successful applicant will have:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in Early Childhood Services and an understanding of current research and practice for learning and development in the early years.
• The ability to work as a positive and collaborative team member and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
• Relevant Early Childhood Educator Qualification.
• Current Victorian Working with Children’s Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate required (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training).

This is a Permanent Full Time position, with an hourly rate of $37.15 per hour (excl. super).
