Temporary Part Time until 18 December 2026

Multiple positions available - part time and full time

Salary: As per EEEA 2020 plus 12% superannuation

Location – Latrobe City Preschools, Victoria

About the Role

Latrobe City Council provide preschool programs at 25 services across our municipality. We are seeking enthusiastic educators, to join our passionate preschool teams.

As a preschool additional assistant, you will provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating and educational environment for children, helping them to learn and grow to their potential.

Please note, location Incentives maybe available.

About You

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in supporting individual needs, abilities and interest of all children in the program and experience of working with children with additional needs would be desirable.

Requirements

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care or Cert 3 in Education (Teacher’s Aide / Assistant) or a willingness to work toward qualification
• Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.
• Ability to work as a member of a co-operative team and to assist in developing good relationships and effective communication between families and Centre staff.

All successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
