Job summary

Little Zak's Academy in Richmond, NSW seeks an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team for a middle shift covering 9am–2pm, 10am–3pm or 11am–4pm. The role focuses on facilitating learning experiences, collaborative teaching, and family communication within a high-quality environment.

You will work with a supportive team, rotate rosters for life balance, and benefit from ongoing professional development, pay progression, and health and wellbeing perks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework including NQS/EYLF
• Ability to build authentic connections with children and families

This position is a middle shift lunch cover role with shifts varying and subject to change - 9am - 2pm, 10am - 3pm or 11am - 4pm.

About the role:

• Facilitate the learning experiences for your allocated group of children

• Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

About you:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards or ACECQA approved)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through interaction, curriculum and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
