Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a Teacher of Children’s Education and Care for Glendale and Cessnock campuses. This permanent part-time role (14 hours per week) involves delivering face-to-face, online and blended training in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You will have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, 3+ years post-qualification experience, and a current VET teaching qualification. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care sector or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of three yearspost-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
• Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
• Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
