Salary : $106,145.07 (inclusive of all allowances / loadings) plus super

What you’ll do
Be able to lead and manage a team of educators.
- Hold a Nominated Supervisor certificate and understand the requirements.
- Complete rosters according to the ratio requirements of NT.
- Handle the day-to-day operations of the service.
- Mentor and lead by example.
- Create partnerships with staff, families, the community, and One Tree.
- Oversee continuous improvements and compliance for the service.
- Ensure the workplace operates within Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Manage budgets and funding.
- Manage staff, including performance, recruitment, professional development, and performance appraisals.
- Deliver a curriculum in accordance with One Tree’s philosophy as the service’s Educational Leader.
- Act as a Responsible Person, Educational Leader, First Aid Officer, WHS Officer and Nominated Supervisor of the service.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a Director or in a managerial role.
- Organisational skills including general organising, time management, scheduling, coordinating resources and meeting deadlines.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families, and community.
- Experience in achieving excellence at management level in an early education and care setting.
- Experience in managing staff including staff performance, recruitment, and performance appraisals.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiencies in service delivery.
- Knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth laws and regulations.
Certifications & Licences required
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
- Clear NT Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)
- Clear National Police ClearanceCurrent Senior First Aid & CPR certificates
- A valid driver’s licence
