Job summary

Job description: Role: Assistant Director

Centre: Goodstart Joondalup

Employment Type: Full time, 38 hours

Pay: $42.38 to $43.60 depending on qualification or experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodstart Joondalup:

  • We are a 57 place centre
  • Located behind the Candlewood shopping centre, within close proximity to Joondalup Primary School. Our aim is to offer a home like atmosphere which encourages children to feel comfortable and confident in their learning environment.
  • At Goodstart Joondalup we have 11 highly qualified permanent educators and 1 qualified Teacher who delivers our Kindergarten Program.
