Zusammenfassung

Harmony Bahrs Scrub is seeking experienced Casual Educators to support children’s growth and wellbeing in a welcoming, safe environment. You will contribute to learning through play and intentional teaching, while building strong relationships with children and their families.

This role requires warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach, with availability for a variety of shifts including opening and closing times. Training and wellness support are provided by Harmony.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced Casual Educators who have flexibility in their working hours and are available to work a variety of shifts.

As a Casual Educator, every shift is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. You’ll support their growth, development, and wellbeing by creating engaging experiences where they feel safe, valued, and supported.

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy:

• Creating safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments where children feel a strong sense of belonging.
• Supporting children’s individual learning and development through play-based experiences and intentional teaching practices.
• Building positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrating a commitment to the values, ethics, and best practices of the early childhood profession.

About You

You bring warmth, curiosity, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to creating meaningful experiences for every child.

You will also have:

• A Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be currently studying).
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with a current certificate of completion.
• Must be available to work all hours and be willing to do both opening and closing shifts
• A strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and cultural safety.
• An understanding of child protection and mandatory reporting obligations.
• A collaborative, inclusive approach and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
