Job summary

Publicis Sapient invites graduates to join a two-year Early Careers program in Sydney, where you will work with seasoned consultants in multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business and technology challenges. You’ll apply AI-assisted development using Sapient Slingshot, collaborate with clients from day one, and learn across front‑end, back‑end, cloud, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• A university degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, engineering or a related discipline.
• Programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or C#, from study, projects or work.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools, with a view on where they help and where they get it wrong.
• Ability to break a complex problem into parts, reason through it and test your answer.
• High standards for your code, including tests, security, accessibility and maintainability.
• Curiosity about cloud, APIs, data and automation.
• Comfort working in shared code with people from other disciplines, and the empathy to hear a different view.
• Habit of prototyping early, asking for feedback and learning from what breaks.
• Clear communication, explaining technical thinking in plain English to engineers and clients alike.

Responsibilities

• Work in multidisciplinary teams to build software across web, mobile, cloud and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with clients and engineers to shape requirements and deliver high-quality code.
• Use AI to shape requirements into user stories, generate code and verify it before release.
• Review code for quality, security and accessibility across human and AI-written work.
• Participate in discovery through delivery with clients and stakeholders.
