Qualifications

  • Experience of 5 years in a similar position required.

The role of an E&I Technician forms part of the team responsible for operating and maintaining plant and equipment associated with the compression, power, water treatment facilities and well field assets to maximise production, reliability and plant availability.

This role offers a 15 : 13 roster and is based in Moranbah, QLD.

Travel can be offerred on a FIFO ex Brisbane or DIDO basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the Moranbah Gas Plant asset, gas wells and associated field infrastructure.
  • Operate assets aligned with standard operating procedures and guides to maximise production, plant availability.
  • Facilitate the completion of scheduled / unscheduled maintenance, with minimising the impact on the production of gas, electricity and water.
  • Perform all scheduled daily operational tasks, preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare, perform and issue control of work documentation Maintenance of various instruments and gas analysers.
  • Understand and comply with HSEQ systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and embrace a learner mindset that seeks continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology QLD
  • Electrical Licence - Fitter and Mechanic
  • Certificate III Instrumentation
  • EEHA Certificate
  • LVR / CPR
  • High Voltage Switching Certificate
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP
  • Experience : Repair and calibrate instrumentation associated with gas plant.
  • Process Control experience including - PLC's, DCS, SCADA, HMI's and communications equipment associated with these.
  • 5 years experience in same or similar position
  • PTW and Isolation Training / Experience
  • Experience using Maximo or other Work Management system
