Job summary

UGL Pty Limited seeks an experienced E&I Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and electricians in Perth. You will enforce safety, ensure quality, and drive planning and execution of electrical and instrumentation activities on LNG/O&G projects.

The role requires WA Electrical Licence, Cert IV Instrumentation EEHA, and hands-on E&I planning experience. Collaboration with project managers and client representatives is essential for progress.

Qualifications

• WA Electrical Licence and Cert IV Instrumentation EEHA are essential.
• Previous E&I Supervisor experience in LNG/Oil & Gas is required.
• Proven capability in planning and executing E&I tasks with discipline.

Responsibilities

UGL is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced E&I Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I Technicians and Electricians to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HV activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
• 2:2 roster
• 12-hour days (per full shift worked)

About you

• WA Electrical Licence
• Cert IV Instrumentation EEHA
• Proven experience as a E&I Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas environments
• Strong hands-on experience with E&I Planning & Execution (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning systems (highly desirable)
• Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous)
• Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline
