Caulfield Grammar School is seeking a VCE Legal Studies Teacher to join the Caulfield Campus. You will deliver enquiry-based, standards-aligned lessons for Units 1–4 and contribute to a collaborative learning community.

The role is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity commencing 1 January 2027, with ongoing professional development and a supportive school culture emphasizing excellence and student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching VCE Legal Studies Units 1-4 is essential.
• Versatility to teach another VCE commerce subject will be an advantage.
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and personal growth
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Committed to ongoing professional development, staying current with legal developments, and approaching teaching with a proactive, reflective, and growth-oriented mindset.
• Holds a current VIT Registration along with specialised teaching qualifications in Legal Studies or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess students at the beginning of each program
• Provide a flexible program that caters for individual students
• Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn
• Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
• Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Provide reports within school standards and timelines
• Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning
