Job summary

Living Waters Lutheran College in Western Australia invites applications for a highly capable Secondary Chemistry/Physics Teacher to join our science team. You will teach ATAR Chemistry and Physics across Years 7–12 in a Christian, supportive learning environment.

Reporting to the Head of Science, you will design engaging labs, deliver ATAR programs, assess progress, and contribute to curriculum while fostering wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised teaching qualification.
• Current Teacher Registration with the Western Australia TRB.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Experience teaching ATAR Chemistry and Physics.
• Knowledge of SCSA curriculum and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science across Years 7–10.
• Deliver ATAR Chemistry and Physics for senior years.
• Prepare students for external assessments and WACE.
• Develop and implement laboratory investigations.
• Use contemporary teaching practices to maximise engagement and outcomes.
• Analyse student data to inform teaching and improve results.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Support student wellbeing and participate in College life.
