Job summary

Oatlands District High School in Tasmania seeks a dedicated Secondary English / HASS Teacher to implement and monitor learning programs and assess student progress within a supportive, inclusive setting.

The position is full-time (70 hours per fortnight) with career pathways. Applicants must hold Tasmanian teacher registration and RWVP clearance, with full registration preferred; fixed-term options apply under the Tasmanian Teaching Service rules.

Qualifications

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment.
• A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
• Current certificate of registration; or provisional registration; or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania).
• Under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.
• Progression to Band 1 Level 13 requires full teacher registration and 12 months at Band 1 Level 12.

• Assess individual student progress in a supportive, inclusive environment.
