Job summary

Wilderness School in Australia invites applications for a permanent 0.6–0.75FTE Music teacher. The role covers Junior and Senior School with potential to teach SACE Stage 1 & 2 Music; strong piano skills are highly desirable.

You will deliver engaging programs that develop musicianship, creativity and confidence, while inspiring lifelong passion for music. We seek a student-centered, collaborative educator who plans differentiated learning and builds strong relationships across the School

Qualifications

• Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and current South Australian Teacher Registration Board registration.
• Experience teaching SACE Music; Stage 1 & 2 Music is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate a student-centred approach with differentiated learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and contemporary Music programs across Junior & Senior School.
• Teach SACE Stage 1 & 2 Music where possible and contribute to ensembles.
• Inspire students through performance, composition, theory and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues and foster inclusive learning environments.
