Inter Industrial is recruiting for multiple Material Handler and Forklift Operator roles across a range of sites in Melbourne. If you’re an experienced forklift operator or warehouse professional, we have opportunities across different sites and shifts, with equipment including counterbalance, high reach and LO forklifts.

Roles vary by site but share common duties such as manual handling, stock control, loading/unloading, dispatch and safe forklift operation in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Current forklift license is required.
• Experience with Counterbalance, High Reach and long tines.
• Previous warehouse/logistics or material handling experience.
• Safe forklift operation in tight spaces and high-traffic areas.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Capable of manual handling and lifting 25 kg occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Moving and storing materials and stock.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders.
• Receipting and dispatching goods.
• Stock control and inventory movements.
• Loading pallets into production areas.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
