Job summary

Government schools in Victoria are seeking teachers who are currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and who can teach or have demonstrated experience in the specified curriculum areas.

You will contribute to curriculum development, implement and evaluate programs, and undertake teaching and organisational duties as directed by the School Principal, including meetings, camps and other activities.

Qualifications

• Range 1 teachers teach their own classes and help policy development and co-curricular activities.
• They teach diverse students and are accountable for effective program delivery.
• Offer expert advice on content, processes and strategies for learning.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
