Qualifications

• Holds current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
• Has experience teaching Hospitality and/or Textiles in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
• Creates engaging, practical and innovative learning experiences.
• Builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Promotes safe and effective learning environments in practical classrooms.
• Has the ability to teach Cert II / Cert III in Hospitality (desirable).

Responsibilities

• As a Hospitality & Textiles Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and engaging learning programs that equip students with practical skills, creativity and an understanding of contemporary industry practices. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their talents, work collaboratively and achieve their personal best.
• In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students and play an active role in the broader life of the College.
