Job summary

Red Cliffs Secondary College invites applications for a Classroom Teacher - Health and Physical Education. The successful candidate will plan, prepare and deliver engaging HPE programs aligned to the Victorian curriculum, with a focus on improving student learning outcomes and wellbeing.

You will work within a supportive team, contribute to school priorities, and engage in professional learning to enhance practice.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy integration.
• Experience in responding to diverse student learning needs.
• Experience planning for high impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching decisions and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
