Viva Leisure is seeking new Group Fitness Instructors to join our Alexandria studio as part of the GroundUp network. You will lead Reformer, Pilates, Yoga, Barre and wellness classes, delivering safe, engaging sessions that help members move well and feel good.

Reporting to the Studio Leader, you’ll foster positive member experiences, grow class participation, and uphold high safety and service standards in a welcoming community space.

Qualificações

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader (GEL) Certification.
• Strong knowledge and passion for the fitness industry.
• Understanding of fitness training methods and safety procedures.
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness or retail sectors.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage diverse members.
• Compassionate, organized, and able to guide members in a safe environment.
• Excellent multitasking abilities to manage member interactions and class delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality group fitness classes with professionalism, including setup, pack down, and safe use of equipment.
• Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct.
• Motivate and support members, ensuring correct technique and fostering retention and growth.
• Collaborate effectively with club staff and the broader Viva Leisure team.
• Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies, reporting hazards promptly.
• Stay current with certifications and adhere to fitness industry standards and facility procedures.
• Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries, escalating issues to the Club Leader when necessary.
• Ensure class coverage by notifying the Club Leader in advance if unavailable to teach.
