Job summary

Mayfield Childcare Limited invites an Early Childhood Educator to join the Mayfield Early Education Sandringham team. You will create nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children, while collaborating with a team to provide a safe and engaging environment.

The role emphasizes strong parent communication, ongoing professional development, and adherence to EYLF, NQF, and Child Safe Standards to support each child’s growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
• Validity of WWCC and child protection certifications.
• Experience creating positive, engaging learning environments.
• Willingness to obtain Mandatory Reporting, food safety, Red Nose & SunSmart certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences for each child.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.
• Maintain open communication with parents with regular progress updates.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to support learning.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
