Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Cargo Handling Agent in Australia to support safe, secure and efficient cargo operations. You will handle inbound and outbound cargo with careful attention to detail and comply with all safety and security protocols.

As part of the team, you will document import/export information accurately, work with colleagues to streamline processes, and follow Swissport SOPs. The role may require weekend and irregular hours and physical tasks consistent with cargo handling.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required and clean driving record.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience processing import/export information.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Ability to lift up to 32 kg.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of cargo.
• Safe handling and transportation of goods.
• Conducting regular inspections of cargo for security and safety compliance.
• Accurate documentation and processing of import and export information.
• Collaboration with team members to ensure efficient cargo operations.
• Adherence to all SOPs.
