Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant/Bartender to deliver premium drink service and guest hospitality at the QT Gold Coast venue. You will handle a busy bar, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a high-energy service culture at events and peak times.

The role requires experience behind a bar, RSA certification, and a proactive, team-focused attitude. This is a full-time, on-site position within the QT Hotels and Resorts group.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or bar attendant experience preferred; a genuine passion for drinks and hospitality is essential.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to polished, high-quality service.
• Outgoing personality, initiative and a can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and guest rapport skills.
• RSA certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks with speed, consistency and premium quality, from classic cocktails to high-volume service
• Deliver an elevated guest experience through strong floor presence and genuine hospitality
• Maintain full knowledge of the drinks and cocktail menu, and confidently make recommendations to guests
• Support smooth running of the bar during events, functions and peak periods
• Manage stock rotation, basic ordering and minimise waste at station level
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the bar area to a high standard
• Work collaboratively with the wider bar and venue team to keep energy and service levels high
• Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS and licensing requirements at all times
