Job summary

ALDI Stores Australia is seeking a Duty Manager to lead store operations and supervise team members in Melbourne. You will drive sales, deliver excellent customer service at the registers, and ensure smooth shift execution with a focus on safety and team performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, initiative, and effective communication. A 35-hour weekly contract, weekend availability preferred, and extensive training support help you develop into store management through internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store and supervising shifts.
• Offering feedback to the team that's clear, constructive, and inspiring.
• Assisting in training and onboarding team members.
• Being a customer service superstar and serving customers at the registers with a smile.
• Keeping shelves stocked with products so that our customers can find all their favourites.
• Keeping a keen lookout for any incidents or hazards to keep everyone safe.
