Job summary

South32 GEMCO is seeking experienced and safety-focused Single Skilled Operators to join our mining operations team at Groote Eylandt. You will operate CAT 777/785 Dump Trucks within a Mn ore production environment and follow a 12.25-hour shift pattern on a 7/7 roster.

You will also be responsible for meeting KPI targets and upholding a strong safety culture on site, with opportunities to work FIFO from Darwin, Cairns, and Brisbane.

Qualifications

• 12 months production mining experience operating CAT 777 or 789 Dump Trucks
• A current Open Class Drivers Licence
• The ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening, Police clearance

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 777/785 Dump Trucks in a mining environment

South32 GEMCO is seeking experienced and safety-focused Single Skilled Operators to join our mining operations team at Groote Eylandt. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established operation, contributing to efficient and safe haulage activities.

What you will be doing

As a member of the GEMCO Production team, you will be operating CAT 777/ 785 Dump Trucks in a mining environment.

You will work 12.25hr shifts on a 7/7 roster (7 on, 7 off) and work both Day and Night shifts and be committed to ongoing, secure employment.

Meet KPI targets within the Manganese Ore production environment

What you will need

12 months production mining experience operating CAT 777 or 789 Dump Trucks
