Job summary

Drone Agriculture in Brisbane, Australia is seeking a drone operations professional responsible for maintaining CASA compliance and safety standards across projects. You will manage drones, equipment and spare parts, perform drone applications, and leverage mapping software and data storage to produce clear reports in collaboration with the Chief Pilot.

The role requires strict adherence to company policies, completion of operational documentation, and ongoing WH&S engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CASA requirements and qualifications.
• Full and thorough understanding of, and demonstrated full compliance to, regulatory and safety requirements both at the CASA level as well as client requirements such as Job Safety and Environmental Assessments, Plant and Equipment Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Maintaining drones, equipment and spare parts.
• Drone applications.
• Understanding and utilisation of mapping software and data storage.
• Transfer data into easily managed reports utilising the latest software, working closely with the Chief Pilot to support projects where required.
• Assessment of weather, ground risk and airspace considerations for Drone Ag operations.
• Compliance with company policies and procedures including Drone Ag's Operations Manual.
• Accurate completion and submission of all operational documentation.
• Actively follow WH&S requirements - be an active member in a safe environment.
• Candidates may be required to undertake a criminal record check, a pre-employment medical which may include a drug and alcohol screening test.
