Job summary

NRMA is hiring contracted Driving Instructors to teach learner lessons and the NSW Safer Drivers Course. As you gain qualifications and experience, opportunities to deliver senior assessments and corporate training programs become available.

You will join Australia's Most Loved Driving School, known for road safety and community service, with flexible working days and a competitive compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid NSW Driving Instructor License.
• Must hold NSW C class Driver's License.
• Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training or equivalent.
• WWCC is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learner lessons and the NSW Safer Drivers Course.
• Provide senior assessments and corporate training as experience grows.
• Partner with NRMA to deliver safe, high quality driver training.

What You'll Bring

NRMA is committed to ensuring a safe and positive customer experience. To deliver these services to our customers, we are looking for contractors with the following:

Essential licenses and Tools of Trade:

• Valid Registered ACN
• Own dual control vehicle (white colour, less than 5 years old and have a 5 star ANCAP rating)
• Current Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training or equivalent
• Valid NSW Driving Instructor License
• Valid NSW C class Driver's License
• Valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

Desirable Qualifications

• Valid TfNSW Safer Drivers Course Qualification

Essential skills:

• Passion and dedication to help our learner drivers of today become safe and independent drivers
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to exude empathy and patience in all interactions
• The ability to drive NRMA products and positive reviews through a need based selling approach
• Excellent communication with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individuals spanning from differing demographics to levels of driving confidence
• Exceptional understanding and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations
• Effective diary management and a strong work ethic, able to tightly manage time and optimise schedule to service customers
• Ability to confidently adapt to various customer learning styles, needs and preferences
• A collaborative and reliable service provider with a strong work ethic, who demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and service requirements.
