Job summary

Freighter Group in Campbelltown, NSW is seeking a reliable Driver / Yard Hand to join our dealership team, handling trailer deliveries, yard movements and customer handovers.

This hands-on role includes loading, unloading, moving trailers around the site and assisting workshop and parts teams, with a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Has a current HC (MC preferred) licence.
• Clean driving record with good safety history.
• Experience towing or moving heavy trailers is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting trailers from customers and suppliers.
• Transporting trailers between dealership locations.
• Preparing new and used trailers for customer handover.
• Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the yard.
• Assisting with loading, unloading and moving trailers safely around the site.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
• Supporting the workshop and parts departments with general duties as required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Driver / Yard Hand

Freighter Group is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of transport equipment. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver / Yard Hand to join our NSW dealership in Campbelltown.
This is a hands-on role that combines vehicle movements, customer deliveries and general yard duties to support our Sales, Service and Parts operations.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and collecting trailers from customers and suppliers.
• Transporting trailers between our dealership and other locations.
• Preparing new and used trailers for customer handover.
• Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the yard.
• Assisting with loading, unloading and moving trailers safely around the site.
• Carrying outvehiclechecks and reporting any issues.
• Supporting the workshop and parts departments with general duties as required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• A current HC licence (MC licence highly regarded).
• A clean driving record.
• Experience towing or moving heavy trailers (preferred).
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever required.
