Job summary

Coates Coolum branch is seeking Pump Truck Drivers to join their team. You will service on-hire equipment including portable toilets and waste tanks, with safe, professional delivery and pickup to various site locations.

This permanent full-time role offers an attractive hourly rate, a Monday–Friday roster, and opportunities for training and career progression. Flexible working options may be discussed.

Qualifications

• Valid MR licence is required.
• Clean driving record to provide prior to interview.
• Hiab loading/unloading experience preferred but not essential.
• Forklift ticket is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/Pickup/pump and clean portable toilets.
• Secure freight during transit following driver guide procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location for efficient retrieval.

Job description

Our Coolum branch, specialising in the hire of portable building and amenities are seeking Pump Truck Drivers to join their team.

As a part of this role, you will be responsible for servicing (collecting and disposing) on-hire equipment (portable amenities and waste tanks), and play a crucial role as the face of Coates in the field. Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.

• Attractive hourly rates + Penalty rates on overtime
• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster, 7am start

Your typical day will focus on:

• Deliver/Pickup/pump and clean portable toilets
• Secure freight while in transit adhering to Coates driver guide procedures to ensure safe and successful delivery
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval

What you’ll bring to the role

• Valid MR licence, HR is desirable.
• Clean driving record – you will need to provide a copy prior to interview stage.
• Loading/unloading experience with Hiab, and forklift ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations
