SRG Global is seeking an experienced Driller to join the Kalgoorlie-based team at the KCGM Super Pit. The role focuses on operating Top Hammer rigs and DTH equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will contribute to reliable drilling, record-keeping, and collaboration with geotechnical personnel to ensure optimal site performance. The position requires pre-employment medical, clearance, and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating long reach Top Hammer drilling rigs.
• Operating DTH and depressurisation drilling equipment.
• Carrying out pre-start inspections and routine maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Monitoring drilling performance, ground conditions, pressures and equipment condition.
• Maintaining accurate drilling records: metres drilled, hole depths, locations, equipment hours.
• Working with supervisors and geotechnical teams to ensure safe, efficient drilling.
• Maintaining high housekeeping and complying with SRG Global safety requirements.

SRG Global is currently seeking anexperienced Driller with proven Top Hammer and Down-the-Hole (DTH) drilling experience to join our team at the KCGM Super Pit in Kalgoorlie, WA. You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities.If you’re experienced, safety-conscious, and want to be part of a team that gets the job done right, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely operating custom-built long reach Top Hammer drilling rigs.
• Operating DTH and depressurisation drilling equipment.
• Completing depressurisation holes to the required depth, alignment and specification.
• Carrying out pre-start inspections and routine operator maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Monitoring drilling performance, ground conditions, pressures and equipment condition throughout drilling activities.
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults, ground conditions or other hazards that may affect safe drilling operations.
• Maintaining accurate drilling records, including metres drilled, hole depths, locations and equipment hours.
• Working closely with supervisors, geotechnical personnel and other site teams to ensure drilling activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping around the drill and work area.
• Complying with all SRG Global and KCGM safety, environmental and operational requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in Top Hammer Drilling (essential)
• Directional Drilling experience (favorable)
• DTH Drilling experience (favorable)
• Good communication and organizational skills
• A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

• Pass a pre-employment medical anddrug and alcohol assessment
• Carry out a National Police Clearance
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Working at Heights License
• Telehandler License (Favorable, not essential)
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and contributing to a strong team culture.
