Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking a Supervisor Street Sweeping and Drainage PD to lead drainage maintenance and street cleansing initiatives across the municipality in Australia. This six-month contract role offers a competitive remuneration package and flexible working practices.

You will supervise staff and contractors, coordinate drainage and cleansing programs, and manage customer enquiries while ensuring high service levels and community safety through proactive leadership.

Qualifications

• Leadership and staff management experience.
• Experience with drainage and stormwater assets is preferred.
• Hold a valid HR license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Council’s drainage maintenance programs.
• Coordinate and supervise Council’s streets and footpath cleansing program.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to staff and contractors on a daily basis.
• Oversee customer enquiries related to drainage, sweeping and rapid response services.
