About Position:

Role: Dotnet Developer

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Job Type: Contract

Role Overview:

• As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications that are critical to our retail operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Dot Net and React.
• Design and implement database solutions using MS SQL.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks.
• Optionally, develop mobile applications using Xamarin.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Technologies: Proficient in Dot Net (C#), React, and MS SQL.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail Projects: Previous experience working on retail industry projects.
• CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
