Job summary

Earth Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, based in and around Templestowe, VIC 3106, within a 30km radius. This role combines recurring domestic and commercial cleaning tasks to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across facilities.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine environments, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role within a hospitality, hotel or similar environment.
• ABN
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Communication skills with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Australian work rights and availability to work
• Reliable car and valid license and willingness to travel between jobs
• Smartphone to quickly respond to jobs and receive feedback

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all designated areas to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and mirrors, ensuring full compliance with health and hygiene
• Empty and replace rubbish bins throughout the facility and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental protocols
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or areas requiring special attention to supervisory staff promptly
• Stock and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries and amenities in all areas as required
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers and chemical cleaners
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment whilst performing cleaning duties
• Work efficiently to complete assigned cleaning schedules within set timeframes
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery
