Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd in Adelaide invites applications for an experienced Dogman to join our precast facility team. You will safely lift, move and position heavy precast tunnel components, working with crane operators and production crews to maintain safe and efficient workflows.

The role requires a current Dogging High Risk Work Licence (DG), proven Dogman experience in heavy industrial settings and the ability to read lift plans. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Dogging High Risk Work Licence (DG) is required.
• Demonstrated experience as a Dogman in heavy industrial/construction environments.
• Experience working with overhead cranes and lifting heavy loads.
• Ability to read and follow lift plans and safety documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; proactive about safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely sling and direct lifting of heavy precast tunnel segments.
• Direct crane operators using clear hand signals and radio comms.
• Inspect lifting gear, slings, chains and rigging equipment.
• Ensure lifting operations follow site procedures and SWMS.
