Emmaus Catholic College, Kemps Creek is seeking a passionate Diversity & Visual Arts Teacher to join our school community. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027.

The ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage. Emmaus Catholic College is a co-educational Catholic secondary school for students in Years 7-12, providing a supportive learning environment that fosters meaningful connections with peers, school and parish communities.

Qualifications

• Strong pedagogical knowledge to plan and deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons.
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learners.
• Use student learning data and targeted feedback to inform differentiated teaching.
• Experience developing personalised learning plans with teachers, families and stakeholders.
• Capacity to support adjustments and interventions at the point of need.
• Knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) documentation.
• Sound understanding of lesson planning, technology, assessment and effective feedback.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, colleagues and external support services.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to motivate students and foster creative expression and lifelong learning.
• Commitment to Catholic faith and mission of Catholic education.
• Ability to teach Religious Education would be an advantage.
