Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in emergency management.
• Knowledge of NSW Health emergency and disaster management policy directives.
• Experience leading organisation-wide emergency management strategies.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement an Emergency Management framework for MLHD.
• Provide strategic leadership for MLHD Emergency Management policy and guidelines.
• Provide executive support to the MLHD HSFAC and Chief Executive during major incidents.
• Coordinate education programs and training across MLHD.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across MLHD and external agencies.
• Deliver operational support during activations of local, district and state plans.
• Maintain membership of Local Emergency Management Committees.
• Prepare briefs and respond to NSW Ministry of Health directives.
• Coordinate major regional events, including risk assessments and multi-agency plans.
• Undertake on-call duties as required.
