Job summary

SA Health is hiring a Distribution Officer within the Department for Health and Wellbeing – Corporate and Infrastructure, Procurement Supply Chain, for an Adelaide-based Local Health Network. You will oversee distribution of goods, inventory and imprests, ensuring accurate receiving, storage and dispatch.

Key duties include replenishment, stock replenishment orders, and coordinating with PSC to source items as required, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety and compliance in a dynamic health

Overview:

The Distribution Officer is responsible for undertaking distribution activities at a specific Local Health Network (LHN). This will involve the distribution and supply of goods, inventory and other specialist items for the designated LHN.

The Distribution Officers will perform one of/or a combination of the following activities on a rotational basis as directed to meet operational requirements:

• The receipt, storage and distribution of goods at the LHN.
• The scan, receipt and delivery of inventory to imprests and the creation of replenishment orders.
• Receive, put-away and replenishment of stock and despatch within the LHN.
• Liaising with Distribution Services Officer to source potential alternative items and suppliers for imprest products as and when required.
• Supporting team members in PSC by undertaking any other reasonable requests as directed.
