Job summary
Etex Australia is seeking an experienced Distribution and Warehouse Manager to lead on-site operations in Altona, overseeing inventory, safety, and customer service alignment. You will drive SAP-based controls, cycle counts and continuous improvement while partnering with service providers and internal teams.
As a key member of the site leadership, you will develop your team, manage budgets, and contribute to annual plans and targets, fostering a culture of safety, quality and operational
Qualifications
- Experience managing warehouse and distribution operations.
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating logistics.
- Experience with SAP processing and cycle counts.
- Forklift licence and valid driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Develop the team with training plans and SOPs for safe, efficient warehouse operations.
- Interface with Customer Service and transport providers to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Ensure inventory control via SAP processing and regular cycle counts; investigate variances.
- Lead a culture of full safety and compliance with site and corporate standards.
- Collaborate on three-year development plans and CAPEX initiatives to improve equipment.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints via the feedback system; approve or reject when needed.
