Job summary

MTC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dispatch Storeperson for a leading hardware and industrial products distributor in Glendenning. The role starts as casual with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with an immediate start available.

Typical hours are Monday to Thursday 9:30 AM–5:30 PM and Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with a pay rate of 34.26 AUD per hour. The position involves warehousing tasks, RF scanning, and manual handling in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Our client, a leading distributor of hardware, lighting, ventilation, electrical, cable accessories, datacomms, and test & measurement products, is looking for experienced Dispatch Storeperson to join their team in Glendenning for an immediate start.

This role is initially offered to start as a casual and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right applicants.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30AM – 5:30PM &Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Pay Rate: $34.26 per hour

Key responsibilities/duties:

• Pack orders from pick-totes into cartons for dispatch
• RF scanning products
• Load cartons into trucks via conveyor belt (rotated duties)
• Pack outbound orders on conveyor lines
• Palletize Dangerous Goods (DG) cartons for transport
• Other warehousing duties as required

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in RF scanning
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks (up to 25kgs)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Full Australian working rights with no visa restrictions on hours worked per week
• Committed to working in a long term role
• Available for an immediate start
