Mulgowie Farming Company is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join the Packhouse Dispatch team in Mulgowie. Reporting to the Dispatch Coordinator, you will ensure efficient and safe movement of fresh produce and support a cohesive team in early shift hours.

Applicants must hold a current Australian forklift licence and demonstrate reliable, safety‑minded work habits. Own transport is required, and there is no accommodation on site.

Qualificações

• Must hold a current Australian forklift licence.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/dispatch environment.
• Willing to work early shifts and meet safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklifts and other dispatch machinery safely and efficiently.
• Complete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook and key register before operation.
• Load and unload trucks, containers and other transport vehicles with forklift.
• Receive and store stock, ensuring all receivals are accurate and in good order.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Support Dispatch Manager to maintain a cohesive, safe team and report maintenance needs.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our Packhouse Dispatch team. Reporting to the
Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of our fresh produce.

Early work hours

Key Responsibilities

General

• Operate forklifts and machinery in a safe, efficient and competent manner
• Complete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook and key register before operation
• Load and unload trucks, containers and other transport vehicles with forklift.
• Ensure all company procedures, policies, documentation and records are maintained and followed.
• Receive and store stock according to requirements. Ensure all receivals are accounted for and are in good order.
• Complywith all policies and procedures regarding dispatch operations to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility Laws.
• Support your Manager to build a cohesive team that reflects Mulgowie Farming Company's values
• Report any maintenance requirements in your area to the appropriate person
• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding forklift operations
• Ensure work area and equipment is safe and safe work practices are followed at all times

People

• Work as part of the Dispatch Team
• Carry out Safety checks as required in line with policies, procedures and processes
• Provide encouragement and a positive influence for all peers
• Comply with all legislative, environmental, and safety acts as applicable to the state we work in
• Understand the operations being carried out and the hazards and risks associated with operations

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Qualifications

• Current Australian Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience

• Experience in forklift operations in the workplace
• Experience in warehousing / logistics highly regarded
