Qualifications

About the Roles

Provide active support to people with Disability in Toowoomba across Supported Independent Living (SIL). The people you will support are looking for passionate & highly skilled support workers who are experienced in providing complex health care supports positive behaviour support medication administration and personal care. An understanding of approved restrictive practices will also be highly regarded.


We require you to be available to work Weekends and for Sleep over shifts. Commitment to accept and work shifts over national Holiday periods is also required.


Experience with and ability to work with clients with Behaviours is critical.


We have one Part time and one casual opportunity.


Play a vital role in enhancing the comfort and well-being of our clients by supporting their personal care needs with respect and sensitivity.


As part time employees joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster including active nights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for client choice and control


Skills & Experience


  • Certificate III Individual Support

  • Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework and approved restrictive practices

  • Complex health care support including medication administration

  • An unrestricted Australian drivers licence

  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate


Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
