Job summary

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking Disability Support Workers for the Gold Coast South region, including Mermaid Beach, Carrara and Robina. Casual and permanent part-time opportunities are available with hourly pay reflecting experience, up to $47 per hour.

Join a person-centred team to help people live independently, with support in meals, daily tasks, community activities, medication and mobility as needed. Training is provided and flexibility is offered to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
• Commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
• Great listening and respectful communication skills.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• No two days are the same—you’ll be supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Supporting someone to get out into the community.
• Attending appointments or social activities.
• Medication support and mobility assistance (including hoists where required).
