Supporting Me is seeking a Support Worker to assist a quadriplegic male in Young, NSW with personal care and domestic support, in a relaxed family environment. No experience required; above-award pay rates offered, and a set schedule includes Friday mornings and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities include transfers with a ceiling hoist, personal care, home duties, shopping, and appointments transport. Applicants should have a First Aid certificate, COVID-19 training, a valid driver’s licence,

Qualificações

• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Completion of online COVID-19 training modules (provided).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable car.
• Willingness to follow PPE protocols (gloves & gown) in the event of COVID-19 risk.

Responsabilidades

• Assisted transfers using a ceiling hoist (wheelchair/bed/shower chair).
• Personal care: toileting, showering, dressing, and hygiene.
• Exercise and physical therapy support.
• Domestic duties: laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, mopping.
• Grocery shopping.
• Driving to appointments.

About the Role

Seeking a Support Worker to assist a quadriplegic male living in Young, NSW with personal care and domestic support. The ideal candidate will be reliable, approachable, and able to fit into a relaxed and friendly family environment.

No experience required.

Reliability is essential, and in return, we offer above-award pay rates.

Work Schedule

Fridays: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM (including public holidays)

Saturday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Sunday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Sunday 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Additional shifts may be available.

Key Responsibilities
