Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

About the Role

Unidex Healthcare is seeking experienced and reliable Support Workers to assist an 11 year old male participant living Tamworth, NSW. The participant sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) followinig a motor vechile accident. He requires high complex care and dedicated support.

Key Responsbilities :
  • Support with personal care and daily living activities, including supervision and prompting
  • Preperation of and assistance with afternoon tea
  • Support with Peristeen Bowel Irrigation (training will be provided)
  • Medication management (prompting only)
  • Setting up and assisting with use of a standing frame, including activiies while in frame
  • Assistance with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preperation
  • Support with community access and engagement
Shift Details :
  • Monday : 3 : 15pm - 6 : 30pm
  • Tuesday : 3 : 15pm - 8pm
  • Wednesday : 3 : 15pm - 8pm
  • Thursday : 3 : 15pm - 8pm
  • Friday : 3 : 15pm - 6 : 30pm
  • Saturday : 1pm - 6 : 30pm
  • Sunday : 3 : 15pm - 6 : 30pm
Pay & Incentives :
  • Day shift : $42.50 per hour
  • Afternoon : $46.75 per hour
  • Saturday : $59.50 per hour
  • Sunday : $76.50 per hour
Skills & Experiences :
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
  • Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
  • NDIS Effective Communication Module
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screen check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Australian Driver Licence and Comphrensive Car Insurance
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
